REGENERATOR RECORDS uses the resources of The Canadian Music Archives
Project ; home to thousands of tapes, records, photos and memorabilia from
Canadian bands of the 1960's.
Regenerator Records has aquired every possible format of reel to reel tape
machine in order to perform archive quality transfers over to the digital
domain . We have been excitedly preparing masters for upcoming releases
including the much awaited Cool Aid Benefit Album, originally released as a
single LP in 1970, now digitally remastered from the master multi-track
tapes to be released  with a number of additional previously unreleased
tracks.
In 2006 , former frontman for The Guess Who , Chad Allan asked The Canadian
Music Archives Project to store all of his master tapes and during the move
some old reels of tape were re-discovered of rare early recordings from
1962. This prompted a CD release with encouragement from Chad (as of Dec
2007).
There are so many recordings from great Canadian musicians from the past 50
years that haven't seen a CD release or have never even been released at
all.
Regenerator Records promises some interesting projects to come as we are
negotiating with many artists to release their music.
